Passion

I’ve worked in many areas of community service, but I really found my passion in the Non-Government Organisation (NGO) sector of Disability Support provision. Pairing this experience with 2 of my beautiful children living with disabilities, has driven me to taking an empathetic and client-focused approach in the work I do.

With nearly 20 years of experience in client coordination, social and community participation, project management, and program development for adults with intellectual disabilities and complex needs. I work to find meaningful activities and adventures that can meet our clients’ goals while still being incredibly fun and rewarding experiences for them.

We acknowledge that Enabling Independence operates on the traditional lands of the Kaurna people and that we respect their spiritual relationship with their country.

We also acknowledge the Kaurna people as the custodians of the Adelaide region and that their cultural and heritage beliefs are still as important to the living Kaurna people today.

We acknowledge that sovereignty was never ceded, and we pay our respects to the cultural authority of Aboriginal people visiting/attending from other areas of South Australia and Australia.
